Override
Account Setup:
The
Override Account window is used for creating an override account
that allows an authorized LDAP or IP group user to bypass settings
at the minimum filtering level. A user in an IP group with an override
account will be able to access categories and service ports blocked
at the minimum filtering level, if the option to bypass the minimum
filtering level is activated.
NOTE: For override accounts set up in an IP group, the global administrator
must first activate the option to allow an override account to bypass
minimum filtering level settings in order for a user with an override
account to access categories and ports set up to be blocked at the
group level.
In a mobile filtering environment, override
accounts are not available for mobile users.
