Blocked
IM and P2P Clients and Services:
Trustwave is constantly testing IM- and P2P- supported services. The most
current list appears in the IM Clients and Services
and P2P Clients tables below.
Since patterns are written against the underlying IM or P2P network,
it's likely new clients using existing blocked networks will also
be blocked.
Networks listed as "Web-based" indicate that the client
or service is a Web front-end to an IM or P2P network, so the Web Filter
will block the client/service by HTTP filtering and not by pattern.
This information has been updated in January 2017 with testing from
WF/WFR 5.1.20.
